The Discus is an information site dedicated to discus fish (Symphysodon), covering their care, breeding, varieties and equipment. Every topic — water chemistry, feeding, breeding and disease treatment — is covered systematically, with concrete figures.

How articles are written

For each article, we extract facts and parameters from multiple public sources (public aquarium resources and academic references, data published by breeders, and retailer care guides), cross-check them, and write and structure the article ourselves. All figures (temperature, pH, water-change rates, spawning timelines) are general guidelines; optimal values vary by fish and setup.
